A few relevant highlights:
- Best web application for blogs: Blogger. I voted for Wordpress, but Blogger does a good job of bringing blogging to the masses who don't/can't have their own server space, so I guess it makes sense that it won.
- Best tagline of a blog: From Joshuaink, blog of web
developer John Oxton: "More love than a bus full of hippies."
- Best web
development blog: ProBlogger. A valuable site, to be sure, but I
really think 456 Berea St. or Stylegala should've won.
- Best computer/technology blog:
Slashdot. Retroactively designated as a blog, apparently. (Engadget was a runner-up!)
- Best designed blog: Again, Joshuaink. 'Cause really, who doesn't like purty flowers and love?
Thoughts? Opinions? Scathing criticisms (of the awards, or me)?

1. Personally, I agree with you and am, too, surprised to see ProBlogger win for best web dev. blog.
Since it's a daily read of mine, I have nothing against the site. But, the site really isn't a web dev. blog at all (it does have the occasional offshoot post about where and how to position something for better conversion).
I believe they should have a category for blogs about blogging and ProBlogger should have taken the ribbon for that category.
456 Berea Street would have been my choice for best web dev...just another blogger's opinion :).
